Cookie Douglas

Cookie Douglas moved to Florida in 1980 after spending her early life in the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The tropical life had its appeal. Cookie reasoned that the best way to have others enjoy Florida was to help them own a piece. Then came the quest to know and understand what must be done to best represent her clients. Cookie not only became a Licensed Broker but enhanced her career by earning her law degree at the University of Florida, College of Law, and became a member of the Florida Bar.

Her fluency in the Spanish Language coupled with her professional background has gained her acclaim with both local and International Real Estate buyers and sellers. She listens to her customers and seeks earnestly to get results for them.

Cookie is married to Dave, a local civil engineer. Her son, Zach, a seasoned sales professional in other fields, joined the Douglas Group sales force in 2022 and they have already broken prior year records. Cookie oversees the transaction and the contractual aspects of the sale. Zach focuses on the marketing and sales of the property.

In her free time, Cookie enjoys boating, beach walking, and bicycling. She is actively involved at the Fort Myers Woman's Community Club and Pace Center for Girls.
