Geoff Andersen

After completing B.S and M.S. degrees in Agricultural Economics at Kansas State University, Geoff worked for an agricultural consulting company. He then worked in the agriculture technology field and became an employee of John Deere through an acquisition in 1999.

He retired from John Deere after 25 years in 2020, after a rewarding career, leading sales, and marketing organizations, as well as two general manager roles. The last five years at Deere involved significant international development positions, with extensive experience in Africa, Australia, South America, India and Asia. These responsibilities involved creating multi-party partnerships with government, non-profit organizations and other companies. This experience refined his skills in facilitating win-win-win relationships and creating sustaining partnerships. Geoff's family has been in real estate appraisal and sales for more than 40 years in the Kansas City area. He has been an investor in these businesses and started his own real estate rental company in 2001. He has purchased and sold more than a dozen residential properties in that business and currently manages six rental properties in Kansas and Florida. He is also a business consultant and investor in four other entrepreneurial companies.

After relocating to Florida and investing in several residential properties in Southwest Florida, Geoff obtained his real estate license in June 2022. He joined J.R. Wood in August of 2022 and is partnering with Roger Hill, Jr., a successful agent and broker with John R. Wood for more than 30 years. He looks forward to this new win-win win partnership, as Geoff can serve clients with transparency, integrity, and a critical approach to real estate investment returns.
