Eric Newman

房地产专业人员

Born and raised in Nassau, Eric Newman comes from a family with deep roots in Bahamian development and entrepreneurship. His family owned and operated Island Industries starting in the 1950s, with the Palmdale Shopping Center as their first major project, and went on to build Butler Pre-Engineered buildings throughout The Bahamas, Cayman Islands, and Jamaica.

In the 1970s, Eric’s family moved to Miami, where he later earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Auburn University. He continued the family legacy by expanding their construction business across the Caribbean, Central America, and South America—successfully managing large-scale commercial and residential projects for decades.

Eric spends his days at his home in George Town, Exuma, with friends and family, where his love for the islands continues to grow. After winding down his construction firm, Eric naturally transitioned into real estate, bringing his extensive knowledge of construction, land development, and the Bahamian market to his role as an agent with HG Christie. He is committed to providing exceptional service to both buyers and sellers, offering informed guidance backed by experience, integrity, and a genuine passion for Exuma.

Eric is also part of The Newman Group, a newly created family real estate team he shares with his son and daughter-in-law. Together, they combine their strengths, local insight, and shared love of the islands to help clients find the right property and feel at home in Exuma. For the Newmans, real estate is not just a business—it’s a family venture rooted in connection, care, and community.
