Amy Pretto

Amy Pretto is a residential specialist passionate about working in Montclair and the surrounding towns. She values her client relationships, works with the utmost integrity, and utilizes her organizational skills with superb attention to detail to provide the most positive results for home buyers and sellers.

She leverages her extensive background in marketing and management with a BA from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business. Each transaction is enhanced by a professional and customer-oriented touch coming from her past corporate experience at Kraft Foods and Co-Owner of a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise. Further, the strength of Christie's Northern New Jersey's unparalleled corporate marketing resources and superior customer service assist her clients at all phases of the real estate process.

Amy has firsthand knowledge of purchasing and renovating a home – and is uniquely qualified to help clients through the process. In addition, she takes her role as Coach seriously by augmenting her education with industry certifications including the National Association of Realtors ® Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Center for Real Estate Education Property Management and Christie’s International Luxury Specialist.

Montclair has been Amy’s home since 2008 along with her husband and their son. She is actively involved in the local community – as a Montclair Cobras football program board member, a founder of the NY/NJ Thrillseekers youth ski program which serves many Essex County residents, and having previously served on PTA school boards. When she is not working for her clients, she always enjoys making connections in her spare time while cheering on her son at sporting events, travelling with family, going for runs with her dog, or keeping fit with multiple athletic activities.
