Heather Forde-Prosa

Heather Forde-Prosa moved to Elbow Cay, Abaco, in 2006 and opened a popular local hotspot. Before that, she was the Director of Brand Communications and Development Liaison for a multinational company in the U.S., handling marketing and communications for Atlantis Paradise Island, Atlantis, Dubai, and One&Only Resorts. Today, alongside her real estate career, she manages the 35-acre Big Hill Estate on Elbow Cay.

Heather is committed to understanding and meeting your needs professionally, recognizing the significance of performance and service. She enjoys connecting with people and ensures her clients are well-informed and comfortable with all facets of their real estate goals.

Passionate about community, she is one of a few individuals trusted by the Bahamian Government to care for the Elbow Reef Lighthouse. She co-founded the Elbow Reef Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Elbow Cay rebuild and protect its heritage. She also devotes time to the administration of the St. James Community Center in Hope Town.

Heather holds Bahamian and Canadian citizenship. She was born in Nassau and educated at Carleton University in Ottawa. She enjoys the art of development and the pursuit of creativity as a multi-platform artist, writer, and photographer.
