Joseph M Hurley

Joe spent 25 years as a fixed-income salesperson/broker in lower Manhattan. In addition, he spent 5 years in both Commercial & Retail Banking. He started his real-estate career in June 2010.

He has a BS in Finance & Economics from Manhattan College and is a graduate from the New York Institute of Finance.

On a personal side, Joe is happily married for over 39 years and the proud father of 4. He has been a Ridgewood resident for over 38 years and a life-long resident of Bergen County.

He has coached numerous youth sports and a member of the Knights of Columbus associated with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and the RHS Football Scholarship Committee, plus a proud financial supporter of Covenant House in NYC.

Joe is accredited by the National Association of REALTORS® as a Broker Price Opinion Resource ® (BPOR®), specializing in evaluating properties through the use of technology and holds a certification as a Pricing Strategy Analysis (PSA), which gives him a leg-up on the complete valuation of real property from all pertinent perspectives.

He is also an Accredited Buyer Representative® (ABR®) – a professional distinction that is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation.

In addition, Joe is a Certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), which gives him a competitive edge in resolving deadlocks involving pricing & home inspection issues.

In recognition of his real estate accomplishments as a multi-million-dollar producer, Joe has been recognized numerous times by the New Jersey Association of REALTORS®.
