Jeremy Capell

Prior to joining @properties, Jerry Capell had a highly successful career in management consulting after receiving his BBA in accounting and finance from the University of Michigan. Most recently he was the Chief Operating Officer of a Chicago law firm.    Jerry is a driven and accomplished executive possessing a wealth of business experience.  During his professional career, he consistently demonstrated a commitment to client service and collaboration, informed by a commitment to core values of integrity, work ethic, dependability, common sense and loyalty.

During the course of his career, Jerry had the opportunity to temporarily live in numerous cities on consulting assignments, including San Francisco, Miami, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York City and London. Chicago, however, was always home.

Jerry has been fortunate to live in a number of Chicago neighborhoods, including East Lakeview, the Gold Coast, River North and currently Old Town, where he lives with his husband and (intermittently) his two children who are attending the University of Illinois and Michigan State University.  Jerry also owns a summer home in Southwestern Michigan.  In his spare time, he serves as co-chair of the Board of Common Cause Illinois—a non partisan democracy advocacy organization, and is an avid tennis player.
