Ian Nelson

What excited Ian to join the @properties brokerage was the ability to work side by side with Chicago's Top Producers in the Real Estate Field.  Gaining all the powerful tools, technology, and (most important) mentorship & guidance to elevate his skills for his clients' benefit.

            Joining a Top Producing Team that comes with over 25 years of market knowledge in multiple neighborhoods all over the Chicago Metro and Suburban areas.  Creating strong processes for success, backed by proven producers from @properties, Ian has been developing his skills and educating his clients how to succeed in their markets. 

            Getting to know the agent.  Ian hails from Central Iowa, a small-town kid with big personality, destined for big city life.  Ian spent 19 years of his life achieving every goal set forth in his previous career as an Executive and Sous Chef in Michelin rated restaurants and developing a profiting catering business for a local Chicago Start-up (ask him for some recipes!).  Understanding the discipline necessary to prevail in an industry that can change in a matter of seconds, taught Ian to be quick on his feet and ready to handle any stressors that may arise in life.  "Mis en Place" a term which means "Everything in its place".  It is a way of life for Chefs which provides you the organization and readiness to tackle challenges in your day.

            Enjoying all that Chicago can offer, Ian spends much of his free time with his wife, Julia, and his two dogs.  You can catch him enjoying hikes in the Forest Preserves of Chicago, playing golf at many of the local courses, and getting involved in the community recreational sport leagues, or joining @properties in their many volunteer community efforts.
