Richard Burton

Richard Burton became a confirmed real estate aficionado after purchasing his first home in Toronto's Forest Hill Village in 1993. With an extremely modest renovation budget, he transformed what was considered a 'renovator's dream' into a designer showpiece and sold it within a year. With an extremely keen eye for seeing the potential in a prospective property, he used his innate talent for design and renovation to convert seven 'original-condition' houses in some of Toronto's best neighborhoods into highly-coveted family homes. He continued his part-time career as a 'flipper' through 2002 when he decided to make real estate his full-time career. He cut his teeth on the ultra-competitive Toronto market; immediately setting out with a strategy of bringing his skill for seeing the potential in any property and quickly found a market for high-end clientele looking for a realtor who shared their values and sense of style. The strategy ultimately paid off: within 2 years, Richard routinely topped the sales boards for his brokerage and was awarded entry into the exclusive top sales category. He currently works for the city's top-ranked brokerage firm: Chestnut Park. He is highly valued by his clients for helping sellers stage their homes to get top value and for helping buyers see past visual clutter to realize a home's true potential.
