Selling sci-fi movies to cinemas doesn't seem like the most natural start to a real estate career, but after a unique life in Los Angeles, Bulgaria, and eventually Ecuador, Jen Warkel started a more traditional life and career path in Naples, Florida selling houses instead of science fiction.

In 2004, Jen relocated to the area to start a family, choosing the area primarily for the lifestyle it allows "” life in Naples is safe, clean and easy, the beaches, bays, and Gulf of Mexico are all beautiful, and the city has an abundance of opportunity for philanthropy.
She took an interest in area real estate after working for a developer, and got her real estate license in 2006. "I love looking at homes with potential buyers and witnessing the connection when they find "˜the one' and then hearing about their plans to turn that house into a home. There's also an element of creativity to the search and matchmaking that makes working with buyers challenging in a fun way. It's similar to working with sellers and figuring out their home's true selling point and marketing that in a way they can be proud of and profit from," she said.
The blank canvas of new construction is another process she enjoys "” from finding the land, arranging plans with the architect and interior designer, handling the inspections, and explaining and managing overall differences in quality, resulting in a finished product that was nearly unimaginable and seemingly unfathomable in the beginning.

With both real estate and life in Naples, it's all about the connection; whether it's finding the perfect family-friendly home or the time to explore the natural beauty of our area, Jen appreciates Naples and what it has to offer, and is eager to share that information and enthusiasm with clients.
