Marilynn Grais

   A strong background in real estate market research, marketing and customer relations has led Marilynn to an over 25 year long career in both residential and commercial real estate. The art of asking questions that provide specific responses as well as general feelings has allowed Marilynn to connect to the needs of both buyers and sellers.

  When it comes to listing a property, the development of a marketing plan involves optimism, realism, pragmatism and a little bit of showmanship. The ability to research comparables and develop a realistic value has been paramount to her success. Marilynn has mastered these skills leading to an outstanding reputation and loyalty from her buyers and sellers.

 Marilynn has been active in Chicago non-profits that support affordable housing and provide services for the mentally ill with organizations such as Thresholds and the Kennedy Forum. The importance of quality education for all has led to leadership with The Chicago High School for the Arts, the only public high school with arts training for novices in the Chicago area. Marilynn spent 2014 participating in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University where she was able to interact with a cohort of professionals from around the world in pursuing social change where the development of innovative programs was the focus.

A former resident of Winnetka, Marilynn was active in North Shore real estate. She currently resides in Streeterville with her husband Ron and their dog Milo.
