Learn more about Laurent in the following Q&A.
What do you love most about running a family business?
In recent years, I have seen many of my competitors sell to national companies. This is why managing a family business, on a human scale, is an exhilarating challenge. I am my own boss, and I execute my strategic choices. As a native of Mont-Blanc and a local player in the real estate market, I am keen to perpetuate the family heritage and best meet the expectations of my customers.

What led you to partner with Christie’s International Real Estate?
The Christie’s International Real Estate network is a natural fit for us. Mountain real estate includes chalets and exceptional properties, and our local experience combined with the global network allows us to meet the demands of our customers.
How would you describe the luxury real estate market in Mont Blanc?
The luxury real estate market is strong. Chamonix, Megève, and Saint-Gervais have seen a rise in year-round residents, which has driven home price growth. In the past five years, average home prices have increased by more than 35% in Chamonix and Megève.
If you could choose another career besides real estate, what would it be?
When I was student, I obtained a ski instructor diploma alongside my law studies. I also wanted to obtain the mountain guide diploma but didn’t have the time. Today I envy my guide friends who work in the most beautiful office in the world, whether they are skiing the Aiguille du Midi slopes or neighboring Aosta Valley, or climbing Aiguille Verte, Les Drus, or other mountains. During my free time I escape to enjoy our fabulous garden in the Mont-Blanc Massif.
In addition to skiing, what are your top recommendations for visitors of the Mont Blanc region?
Our fabulous valley caters to sports, gastronomy, and culture. Visitors enjoy several acclaimed restaurants, hotels, spas, and golf courses. I also recommend experiencing the Aiguille du Midi cable cars and Montenvers trains, or attending events like the Cosmojazz Festival Chamonix and the Jumping International de Megève. Other popular activities include hiking, tree climbing, bungee jumping, and electric mountain biking.
