Margaret Gancer

Born and raised in the western suburb of Oak Park, Margaret has developed a lifelong appreciation for design and architecture. Her mother's family business of home renovations gave Margaret a lot of insight into the process of adding value to homes. Getting to help decide layouts, materials, and fixtures for amazing homes across the suburbs was always a fulfilling experience. Her father's real estate investing and countless other relatives working as brokers has also helped lead Margaret to join @properties. 

After graduating from Indiana University in 2012, Margaret went on to get a Master's in Education from DePaul University in Chicago. Living and working in different areas of the city since college has given Margaret extensive knowledge of the various neighborhoods. She has lived or worked in Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, Bucktown, West Town, West Loop and most recently the Gold Coast. In her free time, Margaret enjoys walking the lakefront and trying new restaurants in her neighborhood. Using the organizational, interpersonal, and professional skills she learned in education and her love for the city of Chicago, Margaret is ready to help others find their dream home!
