Sona Shah Velloze

Sona is a buyer specialist with the Leigh Marcus team. Licensed for seven years now, Sona practiced in one of the most competitive markets in the country for some time in San Francisco, CA. She cultivated her passion for real estate early on as she watched her mother, a real estate broker in California, find homes for all of their family members and friends. Her mother's compassion for her helping family members and friends taught her the importance of customer service and always going above and beyond. Sona currently lives in the South Loop neighborhood with her husband.

Sona received her bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of California Irvine, her master's degree from Harvard University, and received certification in negotiation mastery from the Harvard Business School Online. Prior to real estate, Sona worked for the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC. An avid acrylic and oil painter, she often utilizes her creative and artistic side in assisting her clients with interior decoration. In her free time, she loves to travel around the world and has visited 30+ countries.
