For 48 years I have had the privilege of calling Prince Edward County my home town. I was born, raised and had the good fortune of meeting my husband from here and raising our three children in one of the most beautiful areas of the world. I have a deep passion for the area, I was elected to Prince Edward County council in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007 for a term of 4 years. In 2010 I ran a successful mayor campaign with an unsuccessful win. During the time spent on Council, I was provided with an insightful understanding of the daily operations of the municipality and the opportunity to venture into being on the Planning board as vice chair for seven years. With this experience and knowledge I am able to use this in my daily business in finding the right property that best suits the future use for the Buyer, whether it be waterfront, in town properties or farms.

Being raised on a third generation family farm I have strong work ethics that I use on behalf of the Sellers in getting the job done. I appreciate that all Sellers have different needs and situations, and my goal is to have them move on to a new chapter in their lives in a realistic time frame.

Marrying my husband, Manson Slik, in 1994 provided me access into a second generation real estate family, who has guided, supported and developed me into a successful Real Estate Representative today. Prince Edward County is a great place to work, live and play, and I look forward to many more years in finding everyone whom I deal with A Sense of Place.
