Bob Ayars

Bob grew up around the real estate business a little north of Chicago, IL. His father started a real estate company when Bob was a child. While attending Colorado State University earning a BA in Finance and a minor in Real Estate in Ft. Collins, Colorado, he started selling real estate part time in his sophomore year and continued full time after graduation. After seven years of being active in the residential field, he completed the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and began specializing in the commercial side of the business; helping clients from the acquisition of the dirt, planning of the project, lease out and eventual sale of the leased developments.

In the 90's, Bob followed his dream and purchased a 65' sailboat and chartered the boat in the Caribbean, based out of Tortola, British Virgin Islands. He was "hooked" on the Island lifestyle. After 10 years of sailing he felt the call to return to the real estate business and St. Thomas provided the opportunity. It was a natural fit with his real estate knowledge, education and understanding of living in the Islands.
