The Canary Islands, or, the Canaries, are an archipelago of seven Spanish islands-El Hierro, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, La Gomera, Lanzarote, La Palma, and Tenerife-located off the coast of mainland Africa, and are renowned for their climate, volcanic landscapes, and beaches. The island of Tenerife is home to numerous picturesque villages and bougainvillea-lined paths, with property types including townhouses, luxurious villas, exclusive estates, and vineyards, which are popular with families due to the excellent schools. The Golf Costa Adeje championship golf course and Playa del Duque beach are both located in southern Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands.
