Porto Rotondo

One of Sardinia's most beautiful resort towns, Porto Rotondo owes its name to a natural inlet of the Costa Smeralda where nature drew a geometrically perfect cove. Porto Rotondo is situated on the northern coast of the headland called Mount Ladu, north of the town of Olbia, extended towards the Tyrrhenian sea, with the Gulf of Cugnana on the west coast and the Gulf of Marinella to the east.

Founded in 1965 by two brothers from an ancient Venetian family of counts, the marina is one of the best-equipped in the Mediterranean, and it competes with Porto Cervo for the number of mooring spaces. The “piazzetta” with its boutiques, restaurants, bars, and amphitheater is lively and full of character.

Porto Rotondo is an important and strategic location, developed with great care and beautifully integrated with its stunning natural surroundings of rich Mediterranean vegetation and coastline with crystal-clear waters.

An innovative design has enabled the construction of a number of settlements, in harmony with the landscape and located near beaches and cliffs washed by the pristine waters.
