Sardinia, home to Costa Smeralda, is the second largest island in the Mediterranean Sea, defined by clear waters, beautiful beaches, and lush vegetation. On the north part of the island lies Gallura, where popular tourist towns are found, including Aglientu, Palau, Porto Cervo, Porto Rafael, Porto Rotondo and Santa Teresa di Gallura. Some of the island's most iconic villas and estates are located in the Cala di Volpe, Romazzino, and Pevero Bay sections of Costa Smeralda. Composed of seven main islands-Budelli, Caprera, La Maddalena, Santo Stefano, Spargi, Razzoli, and St. Maria, and 60 smaller islands, the archipelago of La Maddalena is situated at the northeastern part of Sardinia.
