Eric M Rizzo

Eric M. Rizzo, having been born and raised in South Florida, spent copious amounts of time visiting the Keys and extensively traveling through the Bahamas by boat, and has resided in Islamorada since the late 90's. This life experience has given Eric a unique perspective on living our one of a kind island life.

Eric graduated from the University of Florida and then returned to South Florida after missing the sun, sea, diving and fishing to attain his law degree at the University of Miami. After law school, he became a corporate investor actively buying and selling residential and commercial properties from Vero Beach through the Florida Keys, developing an emphasis on building new homes and renovating and retaining rental condominium units in the Ocean Reef Club.

While in Islamorada, he has become actively involved in the community as well as with charities. As an avid fisherman and diver with a love of the ocean, he held positions on the board of the Islamorada Fishing and Conservation Trust as well as chaired many fundraisers. He actively volunteers preparing meals and stocking the shelves, as well as raising funds for, the local food bank. He also displays his passion for helping animals through volunteering for Caring for Cats, Casting for Cats, and Marrvelous Pet Rescue. Eric is an advocate for those that cannot help themselves, whether human or animal. After seeing a need for affordable fun tournaments for families, he created a low cost children's and a low cost family tournament through the historic Islamorada Fishing Club, where he is an active long standing member.

Through his life experience, Eric knew what he wanted in a realtor and in a brokerage: global connections, local respect, world class marketing, extensive and intrinsic market knowledge. With that knowledge, he joined American Caribbean Real Estate and Christie's International Real Estate as a licensed real estate agent. Eric brings unique perspective to the team and his customers.
